Call Garrett (1-800-527-4011) with the serial number. The serial number on my Infinium is in the battery compartment. They can help you with any info you need on the detector. You can download user manual from their website. Ground balance is very important with the Infinium. Follow the instructions in the manual. You will have many enjoyable hours swinging the Infinium, but you have to learn how to use it. It is not a turn on and go detector.
