Hi...I just picked up this beauty off E-bay. And indeed it is presteen! I always wanted to fool around with a Bfo detector and this is probably the best one ever made! As a complete model, it came with (2ea) "double loops" They're ok in a field, but just to big to use in a creek looking for nugget amongst the rocks. I'll probably continue to use my VLF most of the time but It would be fun to break out the old BFO on occasion. Now, research has shown, Garrett made a 2", a 3.5" and a 5" coil for this "built like a tank" detector. So, I'm looking for any of these, anybody have one or more available. Also has any ever used one.....what did you think of it?" And last, this thing is the most right handed detector I've ever seen, did Charles make any left hand versions? Hey, any ideas or comments would be welcomed.
Oh, by the way, TR-BFO means "Total Response-BFO" not what you might think. Thanks, spring is close, happy hunting, Ron.
