Garrett PI

There's a real opening at the $1500 MSRP level for a light land only PI gold machine based on the ATX platform in a slim light case with conventional rod and with improved (non-touch sensitive, lighter coils. This would just kill in the gold detector market. Only problem is that the first casualty would likely be ATX sales.

I received a reply from Garrett that stated there were no other PIs on the drawing board.
Minelab on the other hand have another "Super Gold Detector" on the go that could be released by Sep 2015.
