Garrett pro pinpointer

still looking 52

Well-known member
I've got this Garrett Pro pinpointer that I've had for about 3 years now and lately it's been giving me trouble, it won't stay tuned and keeps drifting all the time.
I've done the usual stuff, change the battery, clean the contacts, etc and it still persists with drifting. It's gotten so bad that really it's useless when trying to use.
Anybody got any suggestions?

Buy a new one? I also have a very old one, that is a bit out of tune, and is even worse in hot weather. I have replaced it. The old one had really been used a lot.
