My Pro_pointer failed on a hunt. I've never heard of one failing so was pretty surprised.
Figured I had a loose/shorted wire or something and could fix myself. I unscrewed the internals and slid electronics out and when I did so the switch caught on the housing and disintegrated.
Put it back together best I could and gave to a buddy to ship out for repair.
He attempted repair and did further damage, breaking a wire I think. He put it back together and boxed up for shipping.
We were honest with Garrett and explained why the thing was such a mess.
Today I recieved a brand new Pro-Pointer in the mail.
Honestly due to the damage we did I wouldn't have faulted them fro denying repair/replacement.
Apparently they treat their customers similar to another made in the USA product......
........ Whites electronics.
THANK YOU GARRETT!
