Thats right, waterproof to 10 feet Garrett propointer. Garrett released a vid of it on their youtube channel today. look it up.

Let me think...pre-release...pre-release...as in a 2010 pre-release announcement for a new Garrett product? Are pre-release orders and money being accepted, too? You've got to be kidding. I'll wait until Garrett puts it on their web site, thank you very much.

I don't water detect so it doesn't do a thing for me. But, it will probably be a dandy for the water guys.

Garrett has been employng this method of release for yrs. Nothing wrong with it.

I dont water detect and I want one!

1. Its blaze orange, so i am not going to loose it
2. Its waterproof, so when i am washing it off i can go nuts fully submerged without worry.
3. If i drop it in a puddle, Whatever.
4. It can ride in my beer cooler.
5. I can make Minelab owners green with envy.

I hope it has a way to shut off the beeping, vibrations all i need.
Also i hear it will have an integrated ruler, Handy.

I like that it is waterproof , orange, and if they increased the depth I'll buy one. Like Deepiron , I'd like to be able to turn off the sound and lite.

I saw somewhere that it was $150.

That's same MSRP as the current Garretts Propointer. IMO, you can figure these will be priced similar to the Propointer within the year. $127-$135. Only those who buy straight from Garretts will likely pay MSRP. I just hope that this pointer maintains audio loudness like the Propointer of past. Waterproofing could smother the sound for this land hunter. martin

I think they will have a slightly higher price tagtag than the original and I believe that is fair, just like the ad says the best just got better. As far as I know it does has adjustable sensitivity which is fine but I like how the original reacts right now, I do not want to sense a target in the hole from 3-4 inches away, thats what my detector is for not my pinpointer, however it is a nice added feature for other who prefer more depth....I think you will be able to turn it just to vibrate and if so that is a huge plus, remember guys and gals, this is Garrett we are talking about, in response to the competition I am confident that they hit it out of the ballpark with the Propointer AT.... Garrett emailed me back Tuesday only to say "it's coming" lol when I asked for a release date.... That is ok...what a huge pleasant surprise it was to see the video on Christmas Eve!!! My dealer will contact me as soon as he hears something solid and has me on the list for his first batch!!!

I read a post earlier on a metal detecting site where the OP stated he had a pre-order in with a dealer for $127. I didn't note the dealer's website at the time since I'm not that antsy about buying one right now before it is tested out. I am still looking for that post though. IMO, the dealers will be hustling to make the most during this froth-over-release. If Garretts sets the MSRP on the waterproof at the same exact MSRP as the original ProPointer then I see little doubt that these will get to $127 just like the original.

I have 2 propointers and 1 whites trx pinpointer. I also will own a new At propointer when they come out. I use the propointer the most . I am still trying to figure out the trx. But of all I love the sunray pinpointers . Wish sunray made one for the pro/gold AT's . I will not mind paying a little more for U.S.A made. GS

Wow been off the site since last August and look at all the new stuff.... I need one of these. :surprised:
