Does the Sea Hunter run stable in the florida saltwater.

Thanks
Travis

You should not have any problems caused by the salt water. Overall salt water doesn't cause PI's problems. It's a bit of a blanket statement, but for working in the surf line, and the beach it will be fine.

having more sensitivity the Garrett has. The more sensitive they get, the more chance of introducing some noise. It certainly doesn't hamper the target finding.

And to be real fair, the question wasn't directed about a White's.

Mr. Bill

I tested a Garrett MkII with a White's PI Pro last summer, and found the Garrett to be BOTH less stable, and less sensitive, than the White's. In fact, of the 4 PI's I had, including a Beach Scan MkII and a Sandshark, the Garrett had the least depth of the bunch. And only the Beachscan was more erratic in the surf, but it also went the deepest. The Sandshark was the only one of the bunch that was rock-solid in the surf, but depth is not quite up to the PI Pro, even with my crystal mod.

I used the sea hunter mark II for quite a while on the atlantic coast in Virginia and loved the way it worked in the salt water I had practically no wave noise and it was very stable. I recently moved to the Excalibur because of the amount of trash on the bay beaches here. In a cleane area I think the sae hunter is one of the best. JUst my opinion. HH
