Have a Garrett freedom three CDC metal detector with a bad coil. Called and was told to send it in and would have to replace it with a different coil as the one I have is no longer made. Would cost around $80.00 which I felt was fair as the detector and coil are 21 years old. Lo and behold, about a week and half later I receive the old coil in the mail with a new cord and works like a champ. Get this, no charge. Now this is why Garrett is tops in my book. Not many companies left that give this kind of service. Makes me proud to be an American!!!

From the land of the Bluenose.....had to send my 3 Freedom 3 pluses in twice to get fixed but they finally did the dew. Not many of us Freedom swingers left!
