I just got off the phone with Brad and Sue at Garrett.
All three coils were replaced!!
Headphone connector and o-rings replaced!!
Checked for calibration all is well and no upgrades were required!!
All covered under warranty!!
I received fantastic fast service!!
I was at the end of my warranty from my purchase date in 2006 on a 2003 floor model and for a company to honor that top notch. I would say this has a lot to do with Mr. Garrett his ownership and philosophy. Hopefully his company will not go the way of others. I hope he has a heir !
Well this year I hope to be able to some detecting in. My back is finally better. How much time I get with the Infinium is another story. I mix it up with my other sticks.
I have doing research on the old forts and settlements in my area. Since I am in the Western Massachusetts area there are lost of towns that date back into the late 1600's and early 1700's. A lot of the old fort settlements are surrounded by pasture farm land and woods. I believe the Infinium should do well punching through the plowed land that has tossed relics for years, some may be at the top or two feet down. Oh well that's the plan along with hunting cellar holes.
