GB2 how old?

LipCa

New member
I just purchased an older, used GB2. It has a 5 digit serial number (44xxx) and a white PVC lower rod. I've never seen a white PVC rod on a GB2. Is this old or what?

Most important, it works!

its a los banos model
dont matter how old it is as long as it works :detecting:
i have 1 like it :super:
that dog will hunt

I have the same one with the white lower rod...... hang on to that thing. Great Detector

I believe that is the original run from back in the early 1990s. The 2 piece rod assembly with white lower rod was replaced early on with the newer three piece rod design. Take good care of it!
