Georgian Silver and beautiful Brittania

Gday :ausflag:

On the last day of June my friend Mark and I returned to a spot in the country where we had previously pulled a few oldies from the ground.
We wanted to know if anymore remained (or as I say "pick its bones") as we had a really quick hunt the first visit.
The ground is super mineralised here and in Auto (0) the Etrac is chattery
I started off in Conductive, really slowed down my swing and was delighted to pick up my oldest silver coin George III 1816 sixpence :bouncy:
This was found in a spot that we had both been over before more than once.

I switched to TTF and found it more stable here for some reason
I popped a 1857 Half Penny (Queen Victoria) in the great condition ...I am stoked with the shape of this old beauty
Then came 2 more Queen Vic. coins ...a 18-- (smooth date) threepence and a 1857 Penny - called a Young Head
A stamp which reads Hoopers, Cachon, Aromatise, London Bridge and a bullet head finished off the site.
We each collected over 2 pounds of lead pieces
Rain in the afternoon shortened our day but I didn't mind and I went home very happy
happy swinging all
