The eagle side says "Germany Society for Banking and Discount/Rebates" and the other side says "For 25 years of faithful military service." Was there a German POW camp in your area?

This is a 25 year service award for faithfull service.

There might have been an old German POW Camp here in Virginia. The rail road site was very far in the woods and ran along the river for miles. I'm tring to research it and will let you know.
It's a part of history.........and quite a fascinating find. I live to find cool one of a kind items like this when detecting.
