German What is it?

OK. This is not a detector find, (duh) but, a find anyway. While searching through some of her deceased mom's stuff my wife found several of these stamp looking things. One of my wife's uncle was a German POW and we can only imagine this is where the stamps came from. Any ideas you research gurus??

laynecarr has got it right. The words printed on the stamp mean "Army Intelligence." Here is a link to a site displaying the stamp: http://www.germanstamps.net/index.php/vignettes_tr/929/

There is another on eBay with the same stamp for sale for $7.
