Getting a Omgea 8000 from richard

Killer B 'Wasp' or SunRay Pro Gold headphones. These two are made by the same manufacturer, and with only a few physical differences they work virtually identical. Both have 150 ohm speakers, a toggle-select limiter, are very comfortable and don't flop around or easily fall off or get tugged off.

I use they day and might, every month of the year. I will admit that during the high heat of a summer day they are bearable, but I have been looking for a comfortable lightweight set that uses a 1/8" plug. Most are very low impedance, usually 16 ohm-32 ohm, and have a more muffled audio sound. I would like a set that has a more brilliant audio that is close the the Pro Gold or Wasp w/o the limiter activated.

I have always believed that if a persona can afford a better quality detector, then for best overall performance and results they should also own an equally high-quality accessory coil and high quality headphones.
