Just purchased a used Explorer11. Took it out to a house site that I hunted 3 previous times.Pulled up change all in the most lucrative areas that was hunted previously .After getting used to the language it talks,it was gravy after that. There's so much that's possible with this machine. I had no idea,as I've been away from hunting for 10 years.Just started back when I retired a couple weeks ago.The Minlab goes deep I learned the hard way..:) No shovel:(....
 
Congratulations on your retirement...................The Explorer will be a lot of fun for you and yes you'll have to dig some deep holes!

I've been using an Explorer XS for quite some time. I've heard and I do believe the Explorer 2 is the best of all the Minelabs. Not sure about the CTX yet. It may be a little better for a huge price. Anyway, congrats on your retirement and congrats on getting a super detector!
