Getting comfortable with the F70

I've been experimenting with different settings and swing speeds and such and have been having moderate success. I went to a spot of done hundreds of times before and managed to pull a handful of wheats and a 1941 nickel. Nothing special to most folks but I consider wheat pennies somewhat of a success. I've been running the 11'' with disc20, sens 70 thresh -3 and dp tones. I notice if I go really slow in the garbage, a lot of times I can isolate the high tone...not always but I'm doing better than when I first got it.

Just wait until soccer and track season really get going...you are going to have a blast speed sweepin freshies..its a great totlotter too, you can get tight to the poles with the right settings and find stuff overlooked by others. You are running some settings I like and have served me well, by dang though, Zeek was right about that -7 thresh in the junkyards.
Mud

Nice work Jason. I like those wheats also. Glad your getting better with the F70. Mud if you try -7 threshold you will be surprised how bloody close you can get to those poles. I was running Sens@55 and thres@-7 in a trashy area and didn't get all those little chirps and clicks. It runs real quiet. Most of those guys are trash so why listen to them? I know I might miss that one 10K gold plated ring after digging 300 of those chirps and clicks. Only kidding!!!! But you can see how I figure what to dig and what not to dig.
Great work guys and thanks for reading. Happy Trails.....Z
