Played with a bunch corroded coins clad and nickels and zincs all nickels where close 12-12 12-13 ....zincs weather corroded or new where 12-36 on my unit ...dimes clad where 12-43 no matter new or corroded quarters where 12-46 new or corroded Have a quarter buried in the yard at 7-8 inches at presets except for changing the variability to high sang out lound and crisp and could raise the coil 8-9 inchs and still loud and clear 12-46........would recommend that one forget what they know and start out with the presets this thing has power to spare.....oh before I forget the conductive mode all made the 12 sound makes you wonder will test it some more as time permits maybe brass belt Buckles may give you somthin different....
will try to get out between storms! Also had to turn off AVAST to get all Downloadable programs ...got all but the park program just shows 0 bites
