My last couple of trips to the ghetto park AFTER the lawn mowers cut down the knee high grass yielded some good finds...

The seated dime was a major surprise at 5 inches deep and a loud solid signal that blew my ears out! I figured it was silver but a Merc at best... what do I know?
That's my first seated dime for the year and I've officially found at least one seated dime every year for the past 20 years. Also in the pic a couple Mercs and a Roosy, 1891 1902 V Nickels, 1898, 1903, 1906 Indians ( In all their typical crusty glory ), '43 S warnickel, and other small prizes.
The wet spring sure has the lawns grown up into jungles and the mosquitos out in relentless hordes, but the pain of their bites melt away when you are digging up some nice finds like this... ( until you get home itchin' like mad ! ). Take care and HH, Mike.
