Give me your best "ground balance notch" story....

Ground notch really helps when you're in stubble or the woods when you are running a high sens setting and happen to bump into trees with the coil. If you get a lot of falsing, especially "concussive falsing" the ground notch will help stable out the machine and make it more reliable on those faint signals. Usually only one or two hits of the ground notch are sufficient to get the job done. Many folks notch out 85-90 for a lot of programs...keep in mind that you ARE NOT notching targets that fall into the 85-90 range, only the ground balance readings that may fall between 85-90
