[size=large]learning to like it alot. run in pro mode coin or zero. it tells ya when ya got a good target even in iron. even when i want to use my other machines i give in to the ATP cause i know the sounds and how well it seperates.

When my E machines battery ran out the first detector I pulled out of my truck was the Pro for this small spot I had just started to detect. Haven't really had a chance to use her yet since I sent it in this winter for the upgrade to the newer stats. I got one of the first ones and now the sounds are better and cleaner but it still works great as always. Hit a small maybe 30'x50' spot behind a building in a ballpark found some clad some pennies and a nickle only one wheatie. Ran over the same spot with another detector at a 90 degree difference from the first direction. Didn't find anything else. Great machine simple to use and fantastic bang for the buck. I'm holding on to mine and I also got the 5x8 coil on it too for just such trashy spots.
 
This is a great machine. I have the 5 by 8 coil for trashy areas and the 8.5 by 11 for everything else. The machine gets great depth and will pull good targets out of iron infested areas.

It is a great machine, I'm not saying it is the best. Bang for the buck I think is the best, especially with the DD coil and being waterproof is the biggest bonus.
 
The AT Pro is one HOT machine :hot: It will give all the big boys a run for their money, at a fraction of the price and I've had em' all. Great depth, spectacular in the trash and waterproof to boot. No more staring out the window on those rainy days. Take the time to learn its language and it will serve you well.

Only machine for me! If Garrett would come out with wireless headphones, I wouldn't want for nothing else in a machine!
 
You will not want to hunt with the boys with the high end detectors, they might get a little hacked at you for pulling out all the silver:starwars: and if you really want to get them going, say hey lets go to the creek and see what we can find under water:argue: The AT is a killer in trash with the 5x8 coil with good depth, which I use most of the time, unless I'm hunting open field then I use the 8x11. It's a great machine.
 
I've had my at since it came out,it had a few bumps in the road but garrett made it right and its a great machine,it will take care of you and give you great service,it loves to be use so take care of it and watch the finds grow.;)
