GM program question

Can someone clarify what specifically this program does in terms of detecting and why I would want to use it in England in plowed fields? Thanks

Looking at factory setup of this program:
- frequency 17k - from my experience the best for plowed fields, highly aerated. It is also very sensitive on small items, which you can expect in country with long history. If ground is not much aerated, you can switch to 12k
- discrimination at 6,8 will move most of iron trash to the left side of horseshoe. If the field is clean, suggest to reduce
- reactivity and silencer - my favourite combination - gives perfect separation of targets and still keeps quite long signal for good targets. In trashy ground just remember to swing slower
- sensitivity and ground - adjust according to ground conditions
- number of tones - depends on personal preferences. I prefer 4 customised tones

Good luck
