Good Lord! I would be wanting it to go away too!
We've had some snow, but way more cold than normal.
The good side for you maybe would be if you have a slow melt, you'll have deep ground saturation and if you can get out with the detector just when the slop and mud is gone you good get some really good depth and some real strong responsive targets.

Yeah hopefully the spring melt churns up some coins and things. Hopefully spring comes early this year unlike last year when we couldn't detect until the first week of May. Two years ago I was detecting the first week of March so hopefully we have a repeat of that. -Jay
