Isa. 64:8 "But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand"

When is the first time the Bible reveals God displaying His skills working with 'clay'? Gen. 1:26, 27, 31; 2:7.

Genesis 1:26, 27
26 Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

Genesis 1:31
31 Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Genesis 2:7
7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

Scripture opens with God creating the first humans out of the "dust of the ground". In fact, the Hebrew word for "man," adam is closely tied to the Hebrew word for "ground," which is adamah - a linguistic link that enforces the amazing truth about God

GOD is Great and GOD is good, glad he didn't make us out of wood. I am hard headed sometimes but not as much as I used to be.
