God has met my needs many a time...

it seems those times when there is nothing I can do on my own to change a situation is when God shows His love and wonderous way of solving the problem I face.

Once a long time ago I lived with my first wife and 2 sons in a trailer in a trailer park community. I only knew the next door lady a little. Knew she was a spirit-filled Christian but not much more than that.

On this occassion, we had no food in the house to feed any of us. My wife asked what we were going to do for food? I had a security job but no money to buy anything. I told her "I do not know what we can do but God will somehow meet this need we have."

I had no sooner said that when there was a knock at the door. It was the next door neighbor lady - with 2 bags of groceries. She said "God told me you needed these" and she handed me the bags of groceries. I thanked her and thanked God. My wife was amazed.

Thank you again God for providing for our needs. You know our needs even before we know we have them and You meet our needs through the neighbor who was obedient to You and did as You asked of her. I have forgotten her name and know she no longer lives there but where ever she is Father, bless her and her family in the name of Jesus. Amen

Yes, we can do all that we can do when in need and then we lean on Jesus and allow Him to take care of the need or problem! Worry or fret doesn't do anything but cause wrinkles and distress to us and others! God Bless the lady for hearing God's Holy Spirit and moving for her to do what was needing done to feed you and your family! God is goooood and meets our needs by asking for His help by faith!
