What a week! Y'all know I've been struggling for some time with my job and school issues and GOD is working in a mighty way. My mind was made up...I was not going to give up or get discouraged-I was going to pray until something happened. Well, ya know what? In the last week, I have gotten phone call after phone call about job opportunities. These jobs are not "settling" jobs either. Great pray, great benefits etc. One is at a local hospital where I would be working in ICU as a unit secretary/monitor tech and the other job is with a local extension office! Both jobs I applied for in faith....really shouldn't be 100% qualified for them. Don't know what GOD is going to do here, or if I will even get a job, BUT it has given me the confidence I needed to move forward. I needed to feel GOD's love in a real way and he delivered! I have an interview Monday and one on March 7th!

I am so glad for you Liz. Keep the faith because He has a perfect plan for you. Prayers will continue!

God is Awesome and our faith moves mountains out of the way! I am so glad and happy for you and I know God will provide for you the one job that is just right or it will lead to the right job with good Christian co-workers and great pay! Just hold on to your faith which grows as trials come and you keep on obeying and loving our dear Lord Jesus Christ, as our Savior! I pray that you will get exactly the one job God is holding for you and giving you favor in it! May God Bless you, Travis and Loren by meeting your every need as each one of us takes one day at a time in His wonderful love and guidance!! Amen!! Ma Betty

Thanks guys! I have had a big ole' goofy grin all day. Little by little things are getting better.....It's been a long hard two years. I haven't really told anyone here how bad things are at work (other than a few details to Mike). I have been discriminated against, had my pay cut, hours cut....you name it. I have trained numerous people to do my job and who have been hired in at more money than me and I've been there for 11 yrs. I am stubborn and have refused to quit even though I feel like my company has tried to force me out.. It's been hard, I've done a good job for the company and they haven't been able to find fault in anything I've done. I work for a lumber company and even though they won't publicly admit it, they do not want a woman working for them. Plain and simple. Thank goodness I see an end to all this mess. Praise GOD.

So happy things are looking up for you, Liz! Wanda, my sister-in-law, works at Sears putting up the sales ads and putting the clothes together, especially in the children's dept. and she was telling me today that their managers are so lazy and do not know what their jobs are or how the company is run, so the money isn't coming in! Very bad situation, but she just keeps on working while hoping and praying the company doesn't end bottom up from the poor management, who are smooth, fast talkers when asked about what is going on! Most businesses seem to be in the same shape and diffiuclt to hire people who will work and do what is right! You keep your head up and face them in your righteousness in Christ Jesus and don't take very much guff from them who are over you! Right is right and wrong is wrong, but God works it all out for the good of His Children that love Him and for His purpose! Sometimes it takes more patience than we seem to have, but God will provide, for the joy of the Lord is our strength! Amen! Ma Betty

Don't you worry, Ma. I say my peace quite often, but do so respectfully. May have to respect managements authority, but I do not have to respect them as individuals. Big difference. Management learned about a year ago that intimidation didn't work on me and I honestly don't think they know how to handle the whole situation. I've just been hangin' on and riding it out.

Good for you, Liz! Christians are the head and not the tail where those who don't know Jesus try to put them....but we can stand up tall and firm in Jesus....Praise the Lord for your faith in Him, Who is Lord of lords and King of kings! His power is greater than any other! Amen! Ma Betty
