While detecting today for about an hour and a half I lost my keys. I started hunting this old house and realized I needed my 6 inch dd so I went to the car and switched coils . Ground balanced and started hunting I hunted longer than I should , It got dark on me so I headed to the car . That is when I started to freak out I did not have my keys in my pocket. Then I thought it is about a mile to my house and my wife is probably already wondering were I am at. Then I thought wait a minute I have a friend that just lives across the creek. So I walked over there getting my feet soaked and told him what happened . HE said he would run me to my house and get my spare and a flash light. While I was there they told me about thier new grandbaby born friday and I got to see lots of pretty pictures . Finally got home and got key , my wife just smiled thinking you idiot

I went back and he dropped me off , I told him I would find them so I prayed and man did GOD bless me as I had only detected about five feet around the whole house so I found them in about five minutes at about the fifth target I dug. I wanted to find them fast because around here if you are at an abodoned house after dark someone will have a gun on you , we look out for each other here in the south everyone knows each other and we try to take care of each other. Even though I had permission to hunt there you don't want to be there snooping around after dark. I did manage to find a us emblem and a real good shape 1955 wheatie. Praise GOD for finding my keys.
