Joseph, unsuspicious of what was to befall him, approached his brethren with gladness of heart to greet them after his long, wearisome journey. His brothers rudely repulsed him. He told them his errand, but they answered him not. Joseph was alarmed at their angry looks. They accused him of hypocrisy. As they gave utterance to their envious feelings, Satan controlled their minds, and they had no sense of pity, and no feelings of love for their brother. They stripped him of his coat of many colors that he wore, which was a token of his father

We can think before putting mouth in gear or acting upon our jealousies by staying with Jesus, studying God's Word and having more of His agape love in our hearts! Too many times each of us react before we think of what we really should say or do! Am I guilty of that in the past and, maybe even now when my flesh is weak, oh yes, but through God's grace in my accepting Jesus as my own personal Savior I am forgiven and He helps me to be a far better person when, as a Christian created in the likeness of Him, I do that which pleases Him and not myself!
