reading your posts about God and His mercies! Took at least a year or longer for Noah to build the ARK (he had to do it...God sure didn't provide it by being built by Him...Noah preached about the coming flood and although it had not rained like it does now, just a continual mist, I think...but I don't know all the facts back then.. you can say all the people ignored his warnings and mocked him before all were destroyed by the flood except for his own family (
altogether! Just like today when telling a lost world about Jesus and of His saving grace, there is persecution, imprisonment and death! Does that mean God didn't protect them to live longer on earth...No, it just means He was ready to take them Home to Him by their remaining faithful unto the end of this life for eternal life of peace, joy and love with no more death or sickness!
Being a true, spirit-filled Christian is not so easy and has it hurtful and painful times when standing against the enemies who follow satan and believe in his lies! It takes believing faith in Jesus to stand tall and strong to fight the good fight of faith, as a faithful and obedient Soldier of the Lord! We fight not against flesh and blood but against spiritual wickedness in high places...demonic spirits who fell from God's grace by joining satan in his warring against God and His angels! Jesus was with God in the beginning and He is God and will always be the Victor over satan by defeating his sin and death at Mt Calvary with him and the fallen angels (demonic spirits) lost with no more chances to be redeemed from being cast into the Lake of Fire! But every lost sinner has a chance before they die a human death to have their soul saved and cleansed of all confessed sins to be with God in His eternal new Jerusalem....His city of peace and love!!
So difficult for the weak, human mind to comprehend what the Bible truth is but by God's Holy Spirit when accepting Jesus as our own personal Savior by truly believing in His virgin birth, death and resurrection, we can and will know Him by His indwelling Spirit within all who truly love and obey Him, for our Heavenly Father gives us the best when we use our faith by leaning on and trusting in Him! Oh what a Savior, Whose glory is divine and His love never fails....only human-beings fail by not listening to His still small voice speaking to us after He is our Savior and Lord! I pray the lost, including my own family, will believe and live for Jesus before it is too late! Amen!
