Woe Is Me!

The Lord has a special message just for Baruch. And no wonder, considering the circumstances.

First, the historical reference to the fourth year of Jehoiakim in Jeremiah 45:1 puts chapter 45 after chapter 36. Jeremiah is most probably in prison, and the prospect of a revival among the leaders of Judah no longer seems probable. Second, Baruch

Another good post, Martin, and it is just like the Lord is speaking right to me, but it is for others, too, as we all go through many trying and sad times; and yet it is in these times when we need to cry out to God, in Jesus' name, and ask for forgiveness for whatever we may have done or not done for growing closer to Him and for rising above the darkness of this world's, sinful conditions into the brighter and spiritual light of our Savior and Lord!
