Going camping.

Well we are going camping tonight at the river. My neice that moved in with us last year wanted me to take her. She is from the desert and does not have the things to do like we do in ky. That is what she asked for on her 19th birthday. It will also be my daughter who is three first time. My wife is excited too. Please pray for our safety and that it does not rain on us , as it is partly cloudy out now. I will post pictures later and I hope to get a picture of the bald eagle pair that lives down at the river.
GOD bless !!

Prayers for safe and fun traveling and camping! Dear Lord, Please let it not rain on their camp out and help them all to have enoyment in Your great out doors plus Your protection from all harm! Amen! God Bless! Betty

Hope the weather holds and that y'all are having a great time! I love to hike, ride 4 wheelers, and be outdoors (unless it's hot), but camping in one thing I want no part of! I'm too much of 'a girl' when it comes to THAT! I want my house, a hotel room, or cabin, when I'm not involved in some outdoor activity! Not even a camper/motor home will do! I want a nice bed, no bugs/snakes/rats/varmints, a TV, computer, BATHROOM, and ALL the comforts of home! Camping should be a good way of spending some quality time together and I hope you come back to us with some good stories of memories made and share some pictures with us.

Well we all had a good time, except for the 90 degree heat. It was 84 in our tent at midnight. WHOOOO!!!! We did manage to catch a few fish all small , almost lost a pole to a fish but it broke my line.
My 3 year old daughter loved it she said her favorite part was eating hot dogs . My wife and I just enjoyed listening to all the bugs and frogs , and the sound of the water flowing. My daughter loved playing in the mud and then getting in the water to clean it off. And Lisa we saw about 5 small snakes in the water I popped one in the head with my fishing pole. I know you would have loved those.
I will post pictures later.
