just made a great deal with HEEBEGB on a gamma 6000 i've been wanting one for a while and now got one on the way and maybe a 5" coil will follow suit got my atv situation worked out and the guy i sold my atv to got him interested in detecting too!

Hi buddy, let us know how the Gamma does for you, I wouldn't mind trying one myself sometime. Steve.

amcjavelin congrats on the gamma 6000 your going to like that one.i picked one up this past summer as a back up to my Omega so i can have two diff coils ready to go.I have the 5 inch on the gamma and the std or 11 inch on the Omega.i can tell you the little time i had to use the gamma it really impressed me...I look forward to Illinois thawing out so I can get back out with both the Gamma and the Omega.....Markmac

My son loves his, and I am sure you will love yours. :teknetics:#1

i had them before and prefer the gamma over the omega more or less over the pistol grip handle just like the S handle design better and i need a backup for my deep tech rg 1000 vista

I personally like the Omega and G2 rod and grip design, but can't fault the 'S' rod as I also like the Gamma and Delta. All of them are light weight and well worth their cost in performance. I've mounted my 5" DD on the G2 for most hunting I have for it, but plan to pick up a new Gamma this spring just because. I like the 8" concentric coil for a lot of the playground work about this time of year, and both the Delta and Gamma run a bit quieter close to the school buildings than does the Omega.

It's always handy to have a 'back-up' with a different search coil. I know that's what I do. Just enjoy this Gamma for a longer period of time. :)
