um i havent gone anywhere yet but there are plenty of rivers streams etc. i just have to stay clear of the abandoned gold mines. they are way too unstable and i dont want my little guy to fall in. i was thinking of heading along the american river a little ways into the woods and see what i find,

Wishing you, dobbie, lots of good luck in prospecting! May your little guy and you stay safe and hope you find gold in the river! Never know until you try whether you will find something or not! Go get the gold and maybe some silver also! :clapping:

I am going with my daughter in a couple weeks. Let us know how you do!

the rivers are nice but you got to be careful around them. they are deep and swift in most parts. the parts that have the swimming holes are down in the canyon. about 1 hour from my house. you have to drive down a really crooked, winding ,one side cliff the othe other side mountain side, one car, dirt road, to get to most spots that are worth going to. but once you are there its totally worth it. mountains all around with wild life like dear rabbits and such. you can even find the occasional waterfall and caves. lots of caves....

but have fun! :)

didnt get to go... my hubbys golf game lasted a record time of 8.5 hours.so we had no time left to play in the dirt.... but he says maybe tomarow..i hope..im looking forward to it...
