[size=large]Second best find from across the pond. Don't ask me what the settings were because I was in shock (still am) to see what was in my hand. The Safari 'rocks' and is my main metal detector and I must confess, there are times I'm tempted to take it to bed with me!!! I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels that way!!!! (just kidding)!![/size]

[size=large]As I recall, it came up at a solid 18 and I believe I had it set in C&J. I don't recall the sensitivity setting, probably about 16 and I usually have it on High in almost all areas I detect. There is a subtle difference in the tone of pulltabs/ringpulls versus gold so I did think I had something 'special' at the time. In searching for gold, there's homework to be done combined with a 'gut feeling' about various prospective sites but as we all know, most of it is luck and being in the right place at the right time! WTG, love the detail on the reverse. If that's your second best find, what's the first - I'm guessing the beautiful crucifix & chain ?
