Gold at last for January

Thought I'd post some recent gold finds...at last.
The gold has been hiding well up until today.
Both items are 9ct, which is better than 0ct.

Ahh yes, that would be the "creative" side to me <img src="/metal/html/tongue.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":b">
It's been a strange summer for gold. I know loads of people are wearing it but I am finding much more sterling silver than usual, probably a ratio of 15:1.
Maybe sterling silver is "in" this year ??

My daughter is a diamond imported and sells some jewerly on the side...silver has been the "In" for the last 2 to 3 years but lately plat. is really jumping and a new one that is gold and copper combined...
Silver is like US Zinc Pennies...there are more of them than silver dollars...

I've also got a friend who works in an up market jewellery store. She informs me that gold sales are through the roof, especially in the last 6 months or so....probably in line with strong local and national economies ??
I checked out some store prices on a similar .925 bracelet that I found last week....even they go for $150.
Anyhow, I'm into detecting for fun and fitness and go to work to "pick up the dollars".. <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">
