Gold Bug and XP Deus - more gold and wheaties today!

Early morning hunt, empty lot.

Wife found another gold ring 14k 1.8grams. Only our 2nd time out this year and she has a found gold each time.
Thinking of trading my Deus for a Gold Bug any takers? just kidding :)

My Deus seems to have a thing for memorial cents, I scanned the gold ring and got a 20-25 reading close to what bubble gum wrappers read at, not something I would normally dig.

She digs up everything iffy signals or not, the gold ring sounded in the nickel range 54-55 on the Gold Bug.

A few minutes later she is unearthing a huge item, and old ornate golden vintage alarm clock, marked West Germany on bottom.

I thought it was solid gold cuz that's all she's been finding.

I managed to dig up some type of lucky charm, which has yet to pay off and a few wheaties.
Did some research seems to be from a 1906 convention.

Thanks for looking and happy hunting.

Wow, is that a swastika on the good luck Charm?
swastikas pointing to the right was considered a symbol of good luck long before ww2... swastikas pointing to the left is the infamous nazi symbol. .. nice finds, congrats on the gold...

What a coincidence, i found out thru the interwebs that Mr. Oleo R Nestos, around 1897 the guy the lucky charm was presented to, lived in a house here in Spokane. Same exact house I rented and lived in for 5 years from 2005-2010. He purchased that same house back when it was brand new in 1897.

I would've liked to re-unite him with his lucky charm.
