Gold Bug Pro Tone Break - I'm Confused

People talk about setting the tone break on the GBP as if its a separate operation. Is that really true, or does the tone break set itself automatically at the selected discrimination setting (e.g., at 40, at 50, etc.)?

This a very important and useful feature of the G2 and Gold Bug.
 
Right. The tone break is determined by your discrimination setting. So you can set your tone break by adjusting the discrimination.
