I am wondering if 80 is max DISC for this detector? Is that as high as it will go? Does anyone have a Gold Bug in which the Disc numbers go higher than this?

GOLD BUG SE DISC 80?

I did notice that at Max disc of 80 and Max gain the air test depth did not
loose much as compared to a disc of 30 on a Quarter about a inch or so.
I have been hunting newer parks and want to cherry pick, however, the pennies are driving me nuts! Twoonies and loonies seem to come in just above a penny, although, a penny will occasionally jump in at an 83. Twoonies, around 86. Just wondering if anyone else has run into this.

Just kidding, why would you want disc higher than 80 ?
If I could, I would set it at 84 to pick up the twoonies and loonies. Pennies ten to come in at 81 to 83. It means a lot of digging!
