Gold Chain, Stud and Ring Test

Terry Soloman is an avid gold hunter and wanted to join us for a side by side test where he was able to tune in the gold machines.

Some people who own Fishers thought the Gold Bug II was the benchmark for micro gold jewelry on the beach but in my estimation it was the 3rd best today. There are many "experts" on forums that make claims about machines that are inaccurate so instead of debating, I would rather post the video so you can be the judge..

great test, I am also Impressed with the Vaquero, I bet the Vaq would have gotten the target in disc if it had a 7" DD coil on it , but againe you not only sold me on the Vista but the Vaquero. thanks for doning the testing saves me alot of money on buying and trying detectors.

Very Nice video.. Thanks.
Think that my Vanquero got some 1/2-1" more deept with a 10"x12" SEF coil. Very similar in size to the Stock coil, and good to separation.
I did allso some test with my Vista Gold, and I would say that the round coil, got a little more deept. I like to use both coils on my Vista Cold.

That was pretty impressive.

way too many bits of rusted bobby pins and the like. I like the stability of the Gold, and the accuracy of the iron discriminator. Its an awesome beach machine.

Another good video.

I don't own a video camera but I have a suggestion.

To reduce the wind noise, you might try covering the microphone with a piece of light open cell foam or microfiber material such as polar fleece.

Put the material over your ear first. If you can hear through it alright, it shouldn't affect the audio level.

Good suggestion; I'll give it a try.
