A lot of people underestimate the capabilities of the X-terra705. It is a very good coin detector and a great gold nugget detector. I have a 15" HF DD and can hit on a 1 3/4 oz. Nugget at a solid 2 ft. And with sensitivity set to max of 30, it will hit at around 26-27". It is amazing in tailing piles.
 
Thanks. With the research I have done on the area most of this gold came from, I stand a better chance to be more successful this year finding more and bigger nuggets.
