found a old gold mine Ive been looking for, about 7 of them in the general area, the T-2 picked up on pipe fittings , the tailings piles were covered, not to be seen, the shaft is buried, built in the center of a seasonal stream, dug around in the tailings and pulled out some of the quartz, a buddy and I started busting it up and there was gold in small amounts, yea-ha!! the T-2 would hardly respond to the fine gold, my Buddy's Xterra 70 about the same. this mine only produced around a .5 oz to a ton. the one up the valley was about 20 oz to TON, will be looking for that one next.
