Gold 'N silver day

steve in so la

Well-known member
Got out in the humid, hot weather and dug about 75 coins, couple cars and 2 nice rings. The top left thing is a tree game piece.

The ring on the left is 10K gold, the other one is Sterling with gold leaves.

Not too bad of weather today - only had to wring out my headband once :) Steve in so az

Congrats on nice finds and pretty rings! You are an O Ring King, too! We'll see who finds the most rings by the end of the year, you or Mike? I bet you do because you can get out and detect more than he can.........As it gets cold where he lives with ice and snow which makes it difficult to hunt then! :)

God Bless!

Here's a better pic of the ring I dug today. How can I bring out the green stone better ? I know it's very small and maybe not able to do much. Thanks, steve

use a stand that holds their camera. Under the camera there is one of those circle lights above the item you are taking pics of. lots of light!

Move to AZ for the winter! :)

Feels good! Gustav just made his appearance! we needed the rain bad!

Glad you are getting rain, Mike, and prayers have been answered again! It has been raining here since yesterday evening and I couldn't get to the backyard to mow the grass and now it has rained, rained, poured and rained with water everywhere, so don't know when it will dry out enough to mow and by then the front and sides will need nown again, which I did get finished before the rains came! Won't need to water the flowers for a while, as the pots and ground are full of water! Well, when it rains, it pours, as Pete said and glad it isn't a lot of trials for me to overcome right at this time! :)

God Bless!
