Thanks for that video!

One handed nugget recovery is hard..eh?

Looks like a nice place to find nuggets..what sort of weights did you have?

Joe (California)

All are around the half gram mark. With the small one @ .12 of a gram or about 2 grains

This is fast becoming my favorite VLF. Unsurpassed in speed, and an accurate iron ID.

Most modes give a good dig/me response when using the 18kHz.

I think the trick is a spot on GB.

What I would like to see on the next remote is the GB values displayed (and adjustable) to 10th's i.e. 87.3, 87.4 .5, etc. I feel the current method/values need a finer adjustment.

Hey Chris how far south was you? I live across the river from Laughlin........

Jim

Hey Chris what settings did you change if any?
Great video! Love the "X" you made.....

Jim

North Jim!

I was hunting by Sawtooth knob about 50 miles north from Lovelock.

The gold field program with IAR @ 0, reactivity 2, sens 89, tone 251.

Like I said a perfect GB is the key with a re GB every few feet due to the variable ground.

Here is a shot of Sawtooth looking towards the NE.

LOL Yeah I was so darn happy to see the video my brain said south....My bad.

Nice pic, nice area.

Thanks for the settings, I have not tried it for gold and want to for sure.......

Jim

It gets surprising depth on those little nuggets!

Id rather use the DEUS then the GB Pro Duke!

Better GB = better depth + sensitivity!

I hunt gold for a living, and can use any detector I like for finding gold.

Minelab GPX5000 - for shear power, depth and coverage.
Fisher GBII - ultra sensitive on the sub grain gold in mild ground.
XP DEUS - Finds the nuggets in the worst trash litters mining camps.

Thanx Chris;

Guess I'll take mine out nugget hunting one of these days and give it a try, sure like my GB 11 and GB Pro tho.
