Gold Reading on T2

I know gold jewelry can read all over, but is there a number(s) that seem to come up quite a bit that produces gold jewelry finds? I am new to the T2 and am finding coins ok but am sure missing the gold.

Your best bet is to test anything you already own. Wedding band, earrings, etc. And it's all over the map for ID due to the many sizes, shapes and purity. I have a small gold nugget I bought to test with. It can sometimes scan as iron.

I look for very tight and consistant numbers no mo matter what that number may be
