Gold ring and glass

Hi all ,I found my first gold of the year,a small childs 14k ring . It has pretty good weight for being so small. The neatest thing I uncovered was a small beach dump. My excal hit a old piece of brass and when I got down about a foot I spied some glass. I started digging and ended up with several in the same area. I ended up with a two foot hole by about 4 feet. Tons of broken stuff but there was a few still in one piece.
Thanks for looking and HH.

Very cool finds!!

A search found reference to J T Brown apothecary in Boston dated early 1850's. Would guess the addition of sons would date it just a little later. Nice old bottles!
Cheers,

Very cool finds! I really enjoyed researching that J.T. Brown company; there sure is a lot of history on it!

I'm not sure if like finding silver more, or finding stuff with writing on it. Writing always leads to major internet research! :wiggle: Must be the geek in me coming out. lol

Good luck in that area that you have there, it seems to be full of OLD stuff!!! Go slow! :)
