Gold Ring ID's

First year with an E-Trac for me, one 10K gold women's ring rang up at 12-04 one inch down.

Thanks for the info. Im going to dig alot more targets in search for rings. With the price of gold and silver it might be easier to find a good ring than a key date coin or token. Good hunting

The only gold I've found was a very thin (thickness wise) man's solid band. It rang up 10-10 at 3" down.

There have been so many variations of so many different pulltabs since 63' with so many different metal compositions and...then it gets even more complex when the beaver tale and ring are disconnected. Most rings that are lost unfortunately are the thin ladies rings and most of those register in the foil range..digging all foil will drive you insane. Some guys focuse on only deep pulltab signals or really good sounding signals. Gold is just plain hard to find. If your going to find it you need to be patient, budget a certain amount of time to dig good solid low tones and stick with it. I quedstion anyone who says they dig all pulltabs. The old park I've been hunting in for 25yrs now has areas in it that have so many pulltabs that its common to dig 2 or more at different depths in one hole. I have been averaging 1 gold ring a year and just found one last month and its worth more than the detector. Gold doesn't come around often...but when it does its a AWESOME feeling!
All I can say is be PATIENT!
HH!
