Gold ring with strange hallmarks

Found Sunday Feb 21,a small (1.7g) gold ring with makers mark E.S.J. CO. and two diamonds with a 3 inch the center of each. It is a strange Hallmark that nobody seems to have seen before. Found with XP Deus and it registered at 47 on 8 khz. Dug a pultab ring without beaver tail a few minutes before reading the same 47. It's a numbers game-dig a thousand pulltabs and then one gold ring, a thousand more pulltabs and then...

Nice gold ring thanks for sharing the details of your hunt. When I dig lots of pulltabs I get frustrated and have sometimes notched out that segment thinking I will find the good stuff anyways. I know if I want to find gold I will have to dig more tabs. I will guess I have about 800 or more tabs to dig before I find my first gold ring.
