Gold ring.

New member
I stopped by the towns drained lake in my old home town and detected for about 45 min. I was about ready to leave and good to work, and I got a nickle pull tab reading. I thought maybe a nickle or lead fishing weight or maybe a pull tab, and it turned out to be a 10k gold ring with a "D". Inside the ring it had been engraved with "Dec. 25, 1944". Its hard to see in the photo, but you can make out some of the numbers. This is the 2nd pull tab, nickle reading that turned out to be a gold ring. I think I'll have to start digging these signals instead of passing then by.
