Gold Rings from the Sea Hunter

I found these two rings in the surf waist deep, a nice size 12 yellow gold 14k wedding band that I will return to the owner. I was given instructions as to where I may find the ring. I had an area of about 600 feet square to hunt. A lucky hit given the surf conditions. Pulled it out of 10" of sand. The white gold size 6 14k ring was found at low tide at about knee to waist deep. That's a keeper! Happy hunting and let's hope there are more drops to be found. EZ

Very nice finds....and I likes keepers too!!

I had been communicating with the wife of the man who lost the yellow gold ring. She said that he went into the water and the ring just came off in the surf. He was devastated since it was his wedding band of 35 years. She posted on craigslist on the outside change of someone turning it in. I responded and we got more specific directions. Long story short I returned the ring and she is going to surprise him with the ring at dinner. It is a great feeling to be able to help people in this way and return back to the community. Thanks for the posts. I found 2 more rings this past week that I will post later. God is so good.. HH :detecting::detecting:Marty

I just got a email from the couple that I had returned the ring to. It was a surprise for the husband who lost the ring. He first thought that she went out and purchased a new ring. On close inspection he realized that it was his original ring. I would have loved to see his face. It feels really good to give back. It is like tithing on future income. Marty
