Gold/silver stamp reminder

Just thought I'd post a few pics of hard to find stamps on gold & silver items. Be sure to look with a magnifier on all likely looking pieces before tossing them in the drawer. Here's an ear ring post with the stamp on the wire post, shot through my magnifier. How do they make them that small ?

Here's one on the edge of a coin or token.

Here's one built into the casting - look closely and see the 10K raised lettering.

This 925 is a lot like the rough surface - kinda hidden.

Lots of times the loop or finding has the stamp on it and the medallion has none.

Here's another finding that was very hard to see - needed a magnifier.

Lastly, be sure you know the numbers/letters in a stamp. This very small Pt is short for Platinum and was found on a necklace. My only Platinum item ever dug. So be sure to check things out when you get home before tossing them, steve in so az
