As mentioned above gold is not lost a lot in yards or even parks but if gold is there it can and will be found.
I will be going to Atlantic City this weekend for 6 days and I will see what it can do on the beach. I bought a Cobra along with the SE Pro (the BOGO sale with Kellyco) and I will do some water detecting as well.
Have a wonderful day and Happy Hunting

You are right, the SE is a nickel finder and if one keeps digging those signals, sooner or later gold will appear. I would give my left you know what to find a gold coin, but so would nearly everyone else . LOL
on the ground and let me listen to them so I would know what they sounded like. The $20 gold double eagles hit beautifully like a silver half dollar, and the $5 gold piece hit like a penny/dime on my Exp II. I didn't expect that. She gave us permission to hunt. Then her husband came home. When he saw the detectors as he pulled up, he became a little irate. I was very pleased that he didn't shoot us (or his wife who gave us permission) before we were asked to leave. Again, I don't have much experience finding or analyzing many gold coins but I do know of at least two that sound nothing like gold. Also, when hunting old farm properties, give extra thought to the dirt floor of old outbuildings if you come across any. This may have been a more common place to stash away a cache than I had previously figured. Just some food for thought, JJ
